Preventive Camp for Children

Eight enthusiastic colleagues and 28 cheerful and energetic children (aged 7-11) participated in our prevention camp for children, once again organised in the picturesque village of Selters. We looked at the theme of friendship through sharing bible stories, singing, and group activities. The children enjoyed morning gymnastics, afternoon team games and water games that brought much refreshment in the hot weather! An experienced artisan master guided the children through a multi-day workshop. The children also learned about the life of bees and the production of honey. During the week, we explored the surrounding forests – admiring the nature around us. On the last evening, we roasted marshmallows over the campfire. The daily meals were wonderful and rich and the accommodations comfortable and clean. We received positive feedback from both the children and parents, and many children are looking forward to next year’s camp. We are grateful to God for the enthusiastic team, for the children, and for the generous supporters!
