Bonus Pastor Foundation is a Christian organization that councils and seeks to rehabilitate people who suffer from alcohol-, drug- and other addictions. We offer assistance to treat the medical, psychological and spiritual dimensions of addiction. A large part of this therapy is carried out at the BPF Rehabilitation Center in a small Hungarian village in Transilvania.

Job Purpose Summary:
To assist with the basic day to day operational tasks and projects at the centre and the surrounding grounds. This is a volunteer position with no pay, but a house is provided to live in, and 3 meals a day provided as well as transport to and from major centres. This position offers the right person a unique opportunity to experience life in a small isolated Hungarian/Romanian village. To take part in a way of life that is intensely traditional and fast disappearing.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Assist in preparing and maintaining a large vegetable garden, duties include preparing ground, planting, watering and weeding.
- Cutting grass and maintaining lawns, flower gardens and surrounding ground.
- Be involved in various building projects in and around the centre, including assisting in brick laying, carpentry and plastering.
- Assist in vehicle maintenance and repair of tractors and cars for the center.
- Run errands to the local town to pick up supplies and staff members.
- Be available on an on call basis to help with emergencies and various problems.
- General helping out at and operational/organization level when required.

Required: The ideal candidate will be physically capable and practical, with a flexible attitude towards work and working hours.
No qualifications are required.
A belief in the Christian faith and willingness to grow and experience new things.
Friendly and accepting of others.
To start work immediately for an indefinite period.

Job Title: Volunteer Teams required for Project Work

Based at Bonus Pastor Rehabilitation Center, Ozd, Romania
The teams will report to the BPF director, and organize all necessary details through the volunteer team coordinator.

Job Purpose Summary:
To assist with the manual work of various projects at the center and the surrounding grounds. This work is for volunteers with no pay, but accommodation is provided in the way of a 400 year old transilvanian castle to stay in. 3 meals a day will be provided at a cost Eur 5.00 per meal, as well as transport to and from major centers. This opportunity offers a unique opportunity to experience life in a small isolated Hungarian/Romanian village. To take part in a way of life that is intensely traditional and fast disappearing.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Be involved in various building projects in and around the center, including assisting in brick laying, basic carpentry and plastering. All details of projects will be confirmed before arrival so teams are fully aware of requirements. Projects will be mixed and include various elements such as maintenance and repair of the castle as well as new build projects such as small sheds, chicken and pig houses etc.

Required:
The ideal candidates will be physically capable and practical, with a flexible attitude towards work.
No qualifications are required.
A belief in the Christian faith is beneficial, and a willingness to grow and experience new things.
Be friendly and accepting of others.
Teams should ideally number between 10 to 20 members, but more or less can be accommodated.
Normally teams work for 7 to 10 days with some days free to experience life and culture in rural Romania.
